Askar Mamin meets with Chevron President for Europe, Eurasia and Middle East Exploration and Production Todd Levy

Prime Minister Askar Mamin held a meeting with Chevron President for Exploration and Production in Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East Todd Levy.

During the meeting, topical issues of joint projects in the oil and gas industry were discussed. Cooperation with Chevron is carried out on the Tengiz, Karachaganak projects and the expansion of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

The parties stressed the importance of providing favorable working conditions for all projects.

Todd Levy said that today the situation at the Tengiz field in the Atyrau region is stable. Production processes continue in normal mode.

In turn, the head of the Government emphasized the priority of providing the necessary working conditions.

“Safety and stability of employees should be in the first priority of all employers,” said Askar Mamin, noting that the situation in Tengiz is under special control.
