The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, met with the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, at the second Caspian Economic Forum in Moscow.

The parties discussed practical aspects of trade and economic cooperation, interaction in the industrial and oil and gas sectors, and exchanged views on topical issues of the regional agenda.

Following the negotiations, the Heads of Government expressed their readiness to strengthen bilateral relations in all priority areas of cooperation.
