Several decisions on participants of ASHYQ and offline conferences made at meeting of Interdepartmental Commission

Today Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov chaired a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Preventing the Spread of Coronavirus Infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Healthcare Alexey Tsoy made a report on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the country. Over the past two weeks, the incidence of COVID-19 has decreased by 60%, the mortality rate — by 80%. There is a decrease in the employment rate of infectious beds from 56% to 33%, resuscitation — from 45% to 32%.

Also, in connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation, the Interdepartmental Commission decided to hold briefings and press conferences in person with strict observance of all sanitary requirements. So, on the basis of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and in regional communication centers, media representatives with a green Ashyq status will be able to take part in offline press conferences.

During the meeting of the Commission, reports were heard on the situation with coronavirus infection in the regions of the country and the level of vaccination of citizens. The Deputy Prime Minister instructed the regions not to reduce the rate of immunization.

At the same time, the Commission made a decision to exclude 12 thousand unscrupulous Ashyq participants who do not check the status of visitors for 2 weeks.

Concluding the meeting of the Commission, Yeraly Tugzhanov gave a number of specific instructions and outlined the priority tasks for the Commission members for the near future.
