Implementation of Action Plan for President’s Election Program is the main task of Government

At the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Askar Mamin, measures to implement the Action Plan for the Election Program of the President of Kazakhstan “Well-being for all! Continuity. Justice. Progress" and proposals received from citizens during the national action "Bіrge" were considered.

President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev adopted a clear action plan for the implementation of his electoral program. The Government prepared measures to address pressing social problems. Presentations were made by the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance Alikhan Smailov and Deputy Prime Minister Zhenis Kassymbek.

“Improving the real well-being of our citizens is the primary goal of the Government’s work,” said Askar Mamin, instructing all government agencies to take a responsible approach to solving the tasks of the Action Plan of the President’s Election Program. Timely and high-quality execution of the action plan will ensure the well-being of citizens and solve social issues.

The work of the Government on the implementation of the plan will comply with the principles of the election campaign: continuity, justice and progress. Within the framework of the “Continuity” principle, the Government’s work will be aimed at effectively continuing the course of Elbasy at the new stage of the country’s development: it includes the implementation of Strategy–2050, Nation’s Plan “100 Concrete Steps,” Social Initiatives, as well as strengthening the mechanisms for ensuring social harmony and national unity.

The principle of “Justice” will be ensured through further improvement of the judicial system, increased public security, and the elimination of corruption at all levels. In addition, an effective social welfare system and modern education standards for the population will be introduced, the quality and availability of medical services will be increased, and measures will be taken to create quality jobs.

Within the framework of the “Progress” principle, further improvement of the population’s well-being, development of villages, business support, improvement of the environment, measures to improve the efficiency of the financial system will be ensured. Special attention is paid to enhancing the role of young people in the development of the country, which should be the driving force of progress.

“We must take an active position in resolving issues, especially of a social nature,” said Mamin, having instructed to implement the tasks set by the Head of State thoughtfully, in close contact with the people. “All social obligations of the state must be fulfilled rigorously and in full.”

The head of the Government charged the state bodies with the involvement of the expert community in a timely manner to develop plans for specific step-by-step measures aimed at achieving a real result.
