Roman Sklyar holds online meeting with leaders of German companies

A meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar and leaders of leading German companies took place today.

The topic of the online meeting was the preparation and advanced training of specialists, the implementation of joint projects with German universities and high-tech companies in the field of vocational training.

The meeting was attended by over 30 leading German companies, including Knauf International GmbH, Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Kuehne+Nagel (LLC), RRL Rail & Road Logistics GmbH, Fichtner GmbH & Co. KG, Festo Didactic SE, Herrenknecht AG, Infineon Technologies AG, as well as heads of educational, training and retraining organizations.

In his speech, Roman Sklyar noted that Kazakhstan and Germany have experience of cooperation in the field of vocational and advanced training, and many German companies provide support in training workers for the Kazakh economy. Among them are Knauf, Heidelberg Cement, WILO. Some enterprises already have training centers that train blue-collar professionals.

The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in this direction, which will allow young Kazakhstani specialists to gain experience of interaction with professionals and lay the foundations for future careers.

The meeting was also attended by heads of companies, departments and interested government bodies from the Kazakh side.
