He was born June 18, 1986, in Kostanay.
He graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting, as well as the University of York, holds a Master of Science in Economics.
He began his career in 2013 as director of the Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship of the Institute for Economic Research JSC. There he worked as vice president, deputy chair of the Management Board, first deputy chair of the Management Board until early 2016. In February 2016, he was appointed chair of the Management Board of JSC Economic Research Institute.
Since October 2016, he was advisor to the Chair of the Board of JSC NMH Baiterek, in December 2016 he was appointed advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2017-2018, he worked as head of the Project Management Center of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September 2018 to March 2019, he was vice minister of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From March 2019 to August, he worked as deputy head of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2019-2021, he was first vice minister of national economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On Jan. 18, 2021, by the Decree of the President he was appointed minister of national economy.
