By decree of the Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Askar Begmanov was appointed to the post of Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Askar Begmanov was born in 1975 in Almaty.
He graduated from the Kazakh State Law University, Institute of International Professions, Kokshetau University named after Myrzakhmetov.
He began his career in 1997 as an assistant prosecutor for legal statistics and information of the prosecutor's office of Turksib district, Almaty.
In 1999-2000, he worked in Justice Department of Almaty region in Taldykorgan.
In 2001-2003, he was an assistant prosecutor; a senior assistant prosecutor of the Auezov district of Almaty.
In 2003-2007, he worked in private organizations.
In 2007-2008, he was a senior legal advisor of the Department of Legal Support and Monitoring of Contracts Trade House KazMunayGas.
In 2008-2009, he was the head of Human Resources Department of the Department of Administrative Work and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
In 2009-2010, he was the chief consultant of the department of organizational work and territorial development of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
In 2010-2012, he was the akim of Esil district of North-Kazakhstan region.
In 2012-2013, he was the head of the Akim's Office of North Kazakhstan region.
In 2013-2014, he was a state inspector of the Department of State Control and Organizational and Territorial Work of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014, he was Deputy Chairman of the Transport Control Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014-2015, he was Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Roads of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2015-2018, he was the akim of Magzhan Zhumabaev District of North Kazakhstan Region.
In 2020-2021, he was Deputy Akim of Taldykorgan.
From October 2021 to the present time, he has been the Director of the Department at the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Nupirov Zhanibek, who previously held this position, was dismissed from the position according to the submitted application.
