At the regular government session on Tuesday, the progress in the implementation of anti-epidemiological measures in the country and the development of local content in the sectors of the economy were considered. During the consideration of the first issue, the Head of Government voiced a number of instructions, including providing hospitals in the regions with ventilators in accordance with needs by the end of August 2020, equipping regions with mobile diagnostic complexes, and distributing medicines to regions in an additional monthly volume. During the consideration of the second issue, the prime minister instructed, within a week, to prepare an algorithm of actions to eliminate all systemic barriers preventing the participation of domestic producers in the procurement of the state and quasi-state sectors, stressing that within the framework of the execution of the order of the Head of State, it is necessary to complete the work within two months on digital control of business counter-obligations.
On Monday, the prime minister introduced the newly appointed First Vice Minister Bagdat Mussin to the staff of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry. Bagdat Mussin, appointed by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will temporarily act as minister. Mamin stressed that the Head of State sets specific tasks for the ministry to digitize public services and economic sectors.
